Hosting a model viewer¶

There are two supported ways to put an Excelsior scene on a website.

Hosted iframe¶

Use Create Link in the Excelsior Editor and embed the returned shortcode. This is the shortest route and requires no JavaScript API:

Viewer SDK¶

Use the licensed Viewer SDK when your page must load your own hosted scenes, change materials or properties, assemble products, capture frames, or react to viewer events. The Viewer SDK quick start includes a complete page, self-hosted and pinned-jsDelivr layouts, troubleshooting, and the public API.

Keep an existing legacy integration pinned to its complete immutable release until you migrate it; do not mix runtime files from different releases.
